A nice copy of one of rock's definitive albums — Damn The Torpedoes on the original 1979 Backstreet Records pressing, Pinckneyville plant, still in its shrink wrap. The sleeve has barely been touched; the vinyl plays cleanly through a single mark on side 2, track 2.

There's not much to say about Damn The Torpedoes that the record doesn't say for itself — "Refugee," "Here Comes My Girl," "Don't Do Me Like That" — Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers at full throttle, delivering one of the great American rock records of its era. The Pinckneyville pressing is a solid domestic original, and finding one still in shrink at this price is genuinely uncommon.
