Oingo Boingo – Dead Man's Party (2015 Reissue / Geffen / Red Vinyl / Respect The Classics)

A factory-sealed Mint copy of Oingo Boingo's most beloved album — a 2015 Geffen Respect The Classics red vinyl reissue, pristine and unplayed.

Released in 1985, Dead Man's Party is the album that brought Oingo Boingo their widest audience and remains the definitive entry point into the band's catalog — Danny Elfman's theatrical new wave vision at its most immediate and fully realized, from the title track through "Just Another Day," "Weird Science," and "No One Lives Forever." The horns, the hooks, the particular brand of sardonic exuberance that made the band unlike anything else on American radio in the mid-1980s: it is all here, compressed into one of the most consistently enjoyable new wave albums of its decade. The 2015 Geffen Respect The Classics red vinyl reissue presents Dead Man's Party in a format worthy of the material — colored vinyl, sealed, and drawn from one of Geffen's most collector-focused reissue programs of that period. For Oingo Boingo collectors completing the Rubellan and Geffen reissue catalog alongside the original pressings, this is an essential piece.
