An honest VG copy of Berlin's rare original indie pressing — the one that started it all, before Geffen came calling and the band went global.

Pleasure Victim is where Berlin truly arrived. Originally released in 1982 on M.A.O. Records through Enigma — a small independent label out of Los Angeles — this is the pressing that built the buzz before a major label deal made the album widely available. “Sex (I'm A...)” is the centerpiece, provocative and propulsive, but the whole record holds up as a defining moment in early American new wave. Original pressings on Enigma 3 are genuinely harder to find than the later Geffen reissues, and this VG copy plays without skipping and carries the character of a record that's been loved. The sleeve shows wear and ring wear consistent with its age; the vinyl has light surface marks but plays through cleanly.
