The Cult – Ceremony (2023 Reissue / Beggars Arkive / Red Translucent & Blue Opaque Vinyl / 2×LP / Limited Edition)

The Cult – Ceremony (2023 Reissue / Beggars Arkive / Red Translucent & Blue Opaque Vinyl / 2×LP / Limited Edition)

A factory-sealed Mint double LP of The Cult's 1991 album in one of the most visually striking pressings in the Beggars Arkive 2023 Cult series — two discs, two colors: Red Translucent and Blue Opaque vinyl, pristine and unplayed.

Released in 1991, Ceremony occupies a distinct and often underappreciated position in The Cult's catalog — a transitional album that arrived between the arena-rock dominance of Sonic Temple and the harder, more stripped-back self-titled record, drawing on Native American imagery and a more expansive, atmospheric production to create something that rewarded listeners willing to meet it on its own terms. "Wild Hearted Son," "Heart of Soul," and "Sweet Soul Sister" are among the standout tracks on a record that has developed a devoted following among serious Cult collectors precisely because it doesn't settle for the obvious. This 2023 Beggars Arkive limited edition reissue makes Ceremony available again on vinyl with a dual-color pressing that is unlike anything else in the series — Red Translucent for one disc, Blue Opaque for the other, a presentation that is as considered and distinctive as the album itself. The complete Beggars Arkive 2023 Cult series — Electric on Blue, Sonic Temple on Green Translucent, The Cult on Ivory, and Ceremony on Red and Blue — represents one of the most cohesive colored vinyl reissue programs available for any single artist's catalog. Sealed Mint copies are limited.
