Katy Perry – One of the Boys (2023 15th Anniversary Edition / Capitol / LP + 7" / Cloudy Blue Sky & Violet Translucent Vinyl / Limited Edition)

A factory-sealed Mint 15th Anniversary Edition of Katy Perry's debut Capitol album — a 2023 limited edition bundle including a full LP pressed on Cloudy Blue Sky (Blue with White Swirl) vinyl and a bonus 7" single on Violet Translucent vinyl, pristine and unplayed.

Released in 2008, One of the Boys is the album that launched Katy Perry as one of the defining pop voices of her era — four top-ten singles in "I Kissed a Girl," "Hot n Cold," "Waking Up in Vegas," and "Thinking of You" from a debut that announced an artist with both the songs and the instincts to sustain a long-term career at the highest level. This 2023 Capitol 15th Anniversary Edition marks the occasion with a two-format limited pressing that is among the most visually distinctive in the recent anniversary reissue program: the LP on Cloudy Blue Sky vinyl — a Blue with White Swirl pressing — and a separate 7" single on Violet Translucent vinyl, both included in the same package. The pairing of two different vinyl colors and two different formats in a single anniversary bundle is the kind of presentation that separates a commemorative release from a standard repress, and Capitol's execution here delivers on that distinction. Sealed Mint copies of a limited anniversary bundle this complete are exactly what disappear first on the secondary market.
