David Bowie – ChangesTwoBowie (2018 Reissue / Parlophone / LP / Europe)

David Bowie – ChangesTwoBowie (2018 Reissue / Parlophone / LP / Europe)

A factory-sealed Mint copy of ChangesTwoBowie — the 1981 Parlophone companion compilation covering Bowie's most critically celebrated era, reissued in 2018 as a European pressing, pristine and unplayed.

Where ChangesOneBowie surveyed the early years, ChangesTwoBowie covers the period many consider Bowie's creative peak: drawing from Diamond Dogs, Young Americans, Station to Station, "Heroes", Lodger, and Scary Monsters, the compilation spans the extraordinary mid-1970s to 1980 run in which Bowie reinvented himself repeatedly without ever losing his audience. "Golden Years," "TVC 15," "Wild Is the Wind," "Ashes to Ashes," and "Fashion" are among the tracks collected here — each one a landmark in its own right. As a single-LP introduction to Bowie's most adventurous decade, or as the essential companion piece to ChangesOneBowie, this 2018 Parlophone European reissue is the definitive format. Sealed Mint copies are the way to own it.
